The Issues

Where Brian stands

No focus-grouped talking points. Here is what Brian believes and what he is doing about it in Trenton.

  • West Point Graduate
  • Combat Veteran
  • Small Business Owner

Affordability & Property Taxes

Stop taxing people first and mailing a fraction back with a politician's name on the check. Cut the tax burden at the source.

New Jersey families don’t need another rebate program. They need lower taxes. Programs like ANCHOR and StayNJ take billions from taxpayers, hand a small portion back to select recipients, and let politicians take credit for “relief.” That’s not relief, it’s political marketing.

Brian has introduced legislation to end the rebate shell game and put the savings toward permanent relief, including eliminating tolls on the Turnpike, Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway. Lower costs for everyone beats a check for some.

Fiscal Responsibility

Trenton spends faster than it collects and then asks taxpayers to cover the gap. Brian has a plan to close the deficit without a dime in new taxes.

New Jersey is staring down a multi-billion dollar structural deficit while legislators voted themselves a 67% pay raise. Brian’s answer: eliminate legislator salaries, end wasteful rebate programs, strip pork from the budget, and hold every agency to the laws already on the books, including the surplus requirements the administration has chosen to ignore.

As a small business owner, Brian knows what happens when spending outruns revenue. He brings that discipline to Trenton every day.

Veterans

A West Point graduate and combat veteran who has never stopped fighting for the men and women who served.

Brian served eight years in the Army as an Apache helicopter pilot and flew combat missions in Iraq. He has been the Legislature’s loudest voice demanding accountability for the state-run veterans homes, pushing suicide prevention legislation for veterans, and calling out budgets that shortchange the people who wore the uniform.

He also serves his fellow veterans at home as a leader in the American Legion and VFW in Morris County.

Jobs & Small Business

New Jersey is shedding jobs while the committee in charge of the business climate cancels its meetings. Brian is demanding it get back to work.

Brian runs a manufacturing business in New Jersey. He knows firsthand how the state’s taxes, mandates and red tape push employers and jobs across the border. As a member of the Assembly Commerce and Economic Development Committee, he has publicly called out the committee’s inaction while the state lost tens of thousands of jobs.

His priorities: lower the cost of doing business, cut permitting delays, and stop treating employers like the enemy.

Government Accountability

Say what you mean, follow the law, and answer the public's questions. Brian holds both parties to that standard.

From the MVC’s error that registered thousands of noncitizens to vote, to administrations that ignore statutory surplus requirements, to committees that refuse to meet, Brian has made transparency his trademark. He files the ethics complaints, sends the letters, and asks the questions others in Trenton are afraid to ask.

Government works for you. Brian’s job is to make sure it remembers that.

Public Safety

Back the people who keep our communities safe, and demand straight answers when Trenton or Washington won't give them.

When unexplained drones filled New Jersey’s skies and federal officials dismissed residents’ concerns, Brian walked out of a briefing that answered nothing and said so publicly. He supports law enforcement, opposes policies that tie their hands, and believes public safety is the first job of government.
